On Tuesday 16th June, twelve year 8 pupils participated in a Science and Technology workshop at the University of Westminster. Pupils were split into groups and mixed up with pupils from other schools. The day involved investigating materials and designing a product using the knowledge acquired from the day. Two boys from our school were members of the winning team who designed a racing car. Well done to Nabil and Gjergi from 8Paul who have won engraved plaques. The Mayor of Harrow was present on the day to talk to the pupils and discuss their success. Everyone will receive a certificate during presentation week to congratulate them on their participation.
